The American Red Cross is working overtime for last week's fire victims. The organization has so far provided more than 1,300 meals and has set up disaster assistance centers to help Montague County residents. Until about 8:30 p.m. or until it gets dark, residents can head to the Montague Volunteer Fire Department in Montague. It is located at 1000 Grand Street. Tomorrow from 1:00 p.m. until dark, the Red Cross will be set up at the Christian Mission Church in Jacksboro. It is located at 2381 Highway 380 West. Nineteen volunteer agencies will be there to help with a variety of resources. Fire victims will also be able to pick up bulk items like diapers, formula, blankets and comfort kits. Help will also be available at other locations. For more information call the North Central Texas chapter of the Red Cross at 940-322-8686, or the Chisholm Trail chapter based out of Fort Worth at 817-335-9137.
