Charter Bus Fire Shuts Down US 287

Wichita Falls (KAUZ) - The Wichita Falls Fire Department, late Friday were sent to battle a charter bus fire. That bus was enroute to the Texas Tech/OU game on Saturday.

The bus fire shut down U.S. 287 near the Archer City, Windthorst split.

It's not known what caused the blaze, but according to a passanger on the bus, a large quantity of alcohol at the back of the bus caught fire and exploded.
