An Electra officer is justified in a deadly shooting.

The Wichita County grand jury finds officer Michael Hopkins acted in self defense, and deadly force was necessary when he shot and killed 28 year old Kenneth Crosby.

In May, Hopkins responded to a stabbing call on the 300 block of West Wharton Street.

Officials say Hopkins found Crosby with a knife, and some sort of altercation led hopkins to fire. The grand jury says the shooting was justifiable homicide.
