A man lead authorities on a chase through Oklahoma and Texas this morning.

Officials believe Billy Lewis Reed was running from drug charges. He's charged with evading in a vehicle after running from authorties in Cotton County, Oklahoma all the way to Wichita Falls. During the chase Reed threw out a package near Burkburnett..

.It was recovered but no word on what it was. The chase finally ended when Reed wrecked the truck he was driving in the Wichita River. He then took off on foot, but Wichita Falls Police were able to catch up with him and make the arrest. Reed was treated and released from United Regional and taken to jail.
