Vatican Okays Belief in Aliens

The Vatican says it's okay to believe in extraterrestrials.
The Vatican's chief astronomer says believing in aliens doesn't contradict with faith in God.
The Reverend Jose Gabriel Funes says the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.
 
In an interview published by a Vatican newspaper, Funes says that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith" because aliens would still be God's creatures.
