Warm, Windy Conditions Predicted For Sunday In Texas

Wichita Falls (AP) -  Amid windy conditions, warm, springlike weather was expected across the Lone Star State on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Mostly sunny skies were expected in Dallas-Fort Worth with a high near 80 degrees. South winds should be between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Mostly cloudy skies were predicted Sunday night with a low near 66.

Partly sunny skies were predicted in Houston with a high near 82 degrees. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. The low should fall to around 68.

Partly sunny skies were also forecast in the Rio Grande Valley with a high near 91 in Brownsville. The low should fall to around 73.

Sunny skies were predicted in the Panhandle with a high near 84 in Amarillo. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. The low should drop to around 43.
