TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The city of Stillwater is the fastest growing city in Oklahoma according to the latest estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. The Census Bureau says Stillwater gained 11,741 residents from 2000 to 2007 for a population increase of 17 percent. The estimate says Oklahoma City is second with an 8.9 percent population increase followed by Durant with 8.3 percent more residents and Tahlequah with 6.8 percent growth. Woodward ranks fifth at 5.5 percent followed by Tulsa and Shawnee both at 5.4; Ardmore and Ada at 4.1 and Muskogee at 2.4 percent.
