KAUZ-TV, in Wichita Falls, TX, is looking for a News Assignments Editor to coordinate activities of the newsroom.  Responsibilities include assist in news department planning; maintain contact with outside news agencies; obtain and uncover information regarding news and breaking news; determine priority of news stories and assignment of staff; communicate with reporters and photographers on assignment; and assist news director with other managerial duties.  Qualified candidate will have strong people skills, experience with computers, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle strict deadlines.  Previous experience as assignments editor and/or TV media required; a college degree in communication or journalism is preferred. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
