Steven Romo is an Anchor/Reporter for KAUZ News.

He joined the KAUZ News team in May of 2009.

Prior to coming to KAUZ, Romo worked as a reporter and producer for an NBC affiliate in North Texas.

Romo started reporting while at Texas A&M University, where he worked as a New Media Reporter for the school's award-winning newspaper, The Battalion. Also while in College Station, Romo interned at KBTX-TV3, the CBS affiliate in the area.

Romo says that he views journalism as a form of public service, which he is eager to provide to viewers. He says while reporting about the people and events in the local community, he has determined that journalism is his passion. Gathering and reporting stories about people and the world around him is central to his personal and professional fulfillment.
