Lindsay Hunt, a native of Lawton, Oklahoma, anchors the 5, 6 and 10 pm newscasts. She joined the KAUZ Channel 6 News team in November of 2006.

Broadcasting sparked Lindsay's interest when she started delivering the announcements on IKE-TV, a broadcast production class at Eisenhower High School in Lawton. She then continued her pursuit of broadcasting as producer and anchor of "Top of the Hour", a Cameron University student-run morning newscast. She also gained experience during an internship in the news department at KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City.

Lindsay received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2005 from Cameron University. While in college Lindsay served as President of the Society of Professional Journalists, Student Government representative, and worked with the national civic engagement campaign "Raise Your Voice." Lindsay was also a member of the communications honor society, Lambda Pi Eta, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.

When Lindsay is not anchoring the news she loves helping her husband work outside with their farming and ranching business in Grandfield, Oklahoma. They have two dogs, Jackson and Bentley. Lindsay also enjoys water skiing, watching a good movie, and spending time with family and friends.
