Chris Horgen started at Newchannel Six way back in 1992. He came aboard as the weekend sports anchor/reporter. In 2000 he moved to sports director and started working the weekday shift after eight tough years on the weekends.

In April of 2007 Chris joined the news side of the department. His 16-years of experience in the Wichita Falls-Lawton market is invaluable when tracking down news leads.

Chris grew up in Tulsa,Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Broadcast-Journalism.

When not on the air Chris spends his free time on the golf course chasing the little white ball he just hit to the right. He also volunteers for the North Texas United Way. He was recently named the 2006 North Texas United Way Volunteer of the Year after his work with the Loaned Executive Program. He also is the 2007 Honorary Chairman for the United Way Youth Cabnet.
