Although Lindsey Rogers was born a Texoman in Lawton, she spent most of her life in Edmond, Oklahoma. She is the newest addition to the NewsChannel 6 team reporting during the week and weekends. Lindsey moved to Wichita Falls shortly after graduating from Oklahoma State University in May of 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Broadcasting with a double major in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish.

     While in college, Lindsey served as the social chair for the Society of Professional Journalists and as a member of the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council and Women in Communications. She produced, reported and co-anchored for the Paul Miller SJB weekly newscast. Lindsey also gained experience in the broadcasting industry interning at KOTV in Tulsa and KWTV in Oklahoma City. Her strong passion for upholding the First Amendment was shown by her first place essay themed, "My Internet Freedoms," a contest held by Freedom of Information Oklahoma and the First Amendment Congress.

     In the summer of 2007, she was awarded a scholarship to study abroad in Malaga, Spain. This experience opened her eyes to life over seas and when she’s not working, she loves to travel! Lindsey also loves spending time with her family and friends, spending time outdoors and a good concert. Not to mention, she is a huge cowboys fan...go pokes!
