A Wichita Falls woman widowed by murder is planning a vigil for for her late husband. But it's not only being held to honor 28 year old Charles Britt.

Christina Britt is still looking for answers as to why anyone would want to kill her husband Charles. The couple had two young children. Christina says her husband had gone to get pizza and was coming up the sidewalk to their home pizza in hand when he was gunned down. "It's kind of unknown. Robbery ios our best guess. It's anybody's guess, but maybe they assumed he was a pizza delivery guy that was carrying cash cause he was walking up to the door carrying pizza. Not really sure," said Christina.

All through the past year, Christina has not given up on finding out who killed her husband. She has one desire. And that is for anyone to come forward.

"...Certainly if they know anything about it, let the police know. That's what we're depending on now.... is for people to come forward with information," said Christina.

 

 

 

The lack information is the reason behind a vigil planned for February 15th the one year anniversary of Charles Britt's murder. Christina has a permit from the City of Wichita Falls to block off the street beside the home where they lived at the time of the murder.The street that is being blocked off is Avenue B, between Tenth Street and Fillmore. Once again, the Charles Britt vigil is planned for February 15th from eight to nine pm. Christina Britt plans a moment of silence at 8:26 pm, the time she made the call to 911.
