You Ask, We Investigate: Perry Follow Up

Tools

Dan Garcia

Last Thursday, we introduced you to Elenor Perry. Her son Paul, had been killed two weeks earlier in a motorcycle accident in Laredo. That is bad enough. However, Perry and her children did not have enough money to get his body transported back here to Wichita Falls. We made a plea for help, although some donations came in, it wasn't enough to come close to covering even a fraction of the debt. Because of the time that has passed, Elenor found a funeral home in Dallas that would work with her. We did get him buried in Dallas, Texas... A small ceremony," said Mrs. Perry.

Between what the family could raise and the few donations that came in, there is a debt left to be paid. In all it took $3,500 for the transportation and funeral plot.

"We tried to get things, still working on getting things together. Keep the family going. It is a little hard for us now," said Elenor

The Perry family is trying to raise money for that and other bills that have piled up. During this Thanksgiving season consider those things you have to be thankful for and please consider helping a fellow Wichitan.

If you have a consumer problem, give us a call, the number is 687-U-ASK, that's 687-8275.

If you would like to help the Perry family--they have an account set up at the First National Bank of Wichita Falls. It's under the name Paul Perry.
